I believe that using evidence-based techniques in a compassionate therapeutic relationship is the key to successful treatment. My work with my clients is grounded in empathy and connection while helping individuals gain insight into their struggles. As your therapist, I will help you recognize the barriers that stand in the way of pursuing your values in life. You will learn how to implement new techniques and skills and, ultimately, how to be your own therapist. I work with adults and specialize in helping people with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, depression, and relationship problems. In my work I predominately utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my clinical practice. I am also passionate about couples therapy, using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients access their emotions on a deeper level to create safe, secure and loving relationships.
